Bright and Airy in Vancouver

Bright and Airy in Vancouver

Regan Xausa and her husband, Davide, founder of Velofix, a mobile bike repair company, found the perfect teardown property on a lot with major potential in one of Vancouver’s desirable neighborhoods. “We knew it was the one because the house had a south-facing backyard and it was on a quiet, tree-lined street,” says Regan. They rented for a year before starting the project, and Regan spent that time looking for inspiration and planning for a home that would include outdoor living, plenty of storage and a spacious kitchen. “We then tore the house down and started from scratch,” she says.

W Skincare 2 YEAR Anniversary

Quietly guarded as Canada's best kept beauty secret, W SkinCare founder, Lorinda Zimmerman, has spent the last 13 years cultivating her reputation as a consummate skin care professional by doing what she does best: Making her clients' skin look and feel exceptional.

On Wednesday evening I was happy to capture the 2-year anniversary celebration in Vancouver. Catered by Culinary Capers and floral design by Landeau. Take a peek inside the event below.

Yoga. Run. Party.

Over 10,000 colorful runners flooded the streets of Vancouver on Saturday, for the third annual SeaWheeze half marathon organized by Lululemon. The 2-day event concluded with a massive yoga festival and concert at Brockton Oval in Stanley Park, and I was there to capture the event on behalf of The Lazy Gourmet. Check out some of my highlights below—namaste.

Coffee For Charity

For one week only, Endeavor Snowboards opened their doors to the public and transformed their loft-like, headquarters into a pop-up café for charity. All the profits went to Aprons for Gloves; a local charity focused on community outreach through the sport of boxing. They were serving the BEST specialty coffee in Vancouver; pouring lattes, flat whites and short blacks made with Portland's Heart Roasters. I was more than happy to capture the event in my well-caffeinated state. Check out some of the highlights below.
